University of Kufa

Department of Economics / College of Administration and Economics at the University of Kufa held the sixth Scientific Symposium entitled ( The Challenges of Monetary , Fiscal Policy and the Future of Economic Development in Iraq ) . Economists was attended the Symposium in presence of president of Kufa University Dr. Aqil Abd Yassin , Assistant of Administrative Affairs , Governor of Iraqi Central Bank Mr. Sinan Mohammed Rida Al-Shabibi , Members of the House of Representatives and the professors and students of the College . University president said in his speech " The achievement of economic stability as a target for all development planning in the developed and developing world both requires of the actions taken by using the various instruments for each of the planning of Economic, Financial and Monetary " , he praised the role of Iraqi Central Bank for achieving this goal . He hopes that the College of Administration and Economics at the University to become an important strategic academic centers contribute to the study and treatment of economic issues in Iraq. Al-Shabibi gave a lecture included a detailed explanation of the link between fiscal policy and national development plans and budget with policies of the Central Bank of Iraq . University of Kufa is working continuously to attract Iraqi competencies in various disciplines to take advantage of them and transfer their expertise to students and University professors and discuss the most important issues of concern to the country and develop the solutions .
